Junior Accountant (2+ Years Accounting Experience Required)
As part of the group Finance team of a luxury international group, the candidate will support the Controller on all financial affairs of the USA legal entity including reviewing interim financial statements and reconciling and preparing supporting schedules. This position is also responsible for general accounting, maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company’s reports and statements in compliance with local and group reporting standards.
We are seeking a self-motivated and analytical individual with strong technical and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is proficient with Excel, tech savvy and has strong attention to detail, and professional verbal and written communication. Looking for time management skills, flexibility, accountability, and prompt follow through. Numerical agility is a key requirement. Experience in IT Accounting and with ERP implementation is a plus.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of accounting experience.
Verify, allocate and post accounting related information into business logs
Reconcile statements for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
Perform monthly bank settlements
Monitor Coop reporting
Support cash flow management
Assist with sales tax and MISC 1099 reporting
Support month-end and year-end close process
Assist with preparation of monthly and annual financials reports to management
Assist with forecasting and developing annual budgets
Assist with internal and external audits
Preferred Experience / Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Accounting required, Bachelor’s preferred.
2+ years of Accounting experience required.
Advanced in QuickBooks and MS Excel skills including Vlookup and pivot tables.
Experience in IT Accounting and with transition to ERP a plus.
Has knowledge of commonly-used accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
Exceptional verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to use good judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
